Liquid ammonia, also known as anhydrous ammonia, is a colorless liquid with a strong pungent odor and corrosive. Liquid ammonia is mostly stored in pressure-resistant steel cylinders or steel tanks, and cannot coexist with acetaldehyde, acrolein, boron and other substances. Liquid ammonia cylinders should be stored in a warehouse or on a platform with a shed. When stacking in the open air, it should be covered with a tent to prevent direct sunlight. Steel cylinders and tank trucks that carry liquid ammonia should be protected from heat during transportation, and fireworks are strictly prohibited.
