High-purity octafluorocyclobutane (above 5N) is used as an etching agent and cleaning agent for VLSI circuits. Due to its stable properties, non-toxicity, zero ozone depletion potential (ODP), and good insulation, octafluorocyclobutane has been widely used in technical fields such as high-voltage insulation, cleaning and etching, and plasma treatment in recent years.
